My first two rolls of film I shot was when I was 11 years old & we went camping in Yosemite National Park. All I took was photos of squirrels. I was in one of the most incredible National Parks in the US - & came home with 72 frames of squirrels. After my early career of Squirrel Portraiture ended, I moved to humans for my subject as they don't climb trees so high.
Now having over 20 years experience in photography coupled with a Diploma in Contemporary Photography I would describe my style Photojournalistic. I have shot weddings & portraiture in Aotearoa (New Zealand), Hawaii, Santa Cruz CA, Utah, Peru & Chile. Whilst fitting in doing work for the US Embassy in Indonesia too. I worked in Film & Television for some years & have done photography work for Sony Music, NZ Fashion Week, KFC, MOOKS/Monster Children Magazine & KAGI Jewelery. When I'm not shooting you'll find me doing something in nature. Whether it be taking my dog to the beach, playing underwater diving around with all the beauty below the surface or volunteering for a local organisation. I am well and truly a conservationist at heart.
